So my Love/Hate topic of today is the gym, I'm pretty sure we all have our own opinions of that dreaded yet wonderful place.
I have always enjoyed food and cooking and have always put this before having a perfectly slender beautiful body. Although I may have enjoyed the food, I no longer (& haven't for a while) enjoy the way I look.
So this year I decided to make a change, I took up running and I actually realised I quite enjoy it! I stuck to a very healthy diet and managed to shift a stone of my unwanted weight. I then decided to join the gym and it was going so well! I went pretty much every day or every other for an hour to three hours at a time. Went to all kinds of classes, swimming and the regular gym. I stuck to this for about a month and a half and then I don't know what happened.
My gym buddy couldn't go for a couple of weeks so I decided I would have a bit of a break also and I pretty much haven't been since. This was 2 months ago...
I have got lazy again and put almost all the weight back on. It's not that I don't like the gym, I love it once I'm there however I hate it when I'm curled up in bed or lazing around the house. I just keep thinking I'll go tomorrow which NEVER happens.
I need my motivation back and I need to get back on track. I just don't know how to do this.
It also sucks as I am paying £2459590000 (not literally) every month to not go to the gym.
Must find inspiration!!!

So a few of the perks of still living at home is that I have a few spare pounds which would of normally gone to some sort of bill.
Instead this week, I have decided to just blow it all. This is mostly down to Llymlrs, going through her blog the other day I found lots of cute little websites that I haven't come across before.
For anyone that doesn't know me or does in fact, I am a pretty simple dresser, I don't normally go for prints or bright colours. I enjoy black, nude & grey.
HOWEVER I do love to accessorize, sometimes the crazier the better.
Shoes, rings, watches, cuffs, bags.
Leopard, studs, skulls, stones, sparkles.
I recently came across these little beauties & am awaiting their arrival....
The shoes need no explanation, they are to die! 2 of my favourite things on one of my favourite things!!!
I like every other blogger needed to get their hands on the YSL arty ring, however my bank balance wouldn't allow it. So found that Love Hearts and Crosses did a pretty good copy of it which is very affordable!
Also been craving to purchase something from House of Harlow, each item is absolutely beautifully boho.
Finally came across the winning item which was the gold cuff!
The only thing I am upset about is that the majority of these have to be shipped from America & may take up to 4 weeks! Ahhhhhh...!
I'm pretty sure they are worth the wait.

So last week it was my little sisters 20th birthday & we decided to travel down to Bournemouth. Planned it out to be a nice relaxing day, sit on the beach, have a paddle in the sea & get something to eat. HOWEVER. It turned out to be an extremely stressful day! What should have been a 2 hour journey actually turned out to take us 5 HOURS!!! Was ridic.
The main turning for Bournemouth was shut so we had to major detour which was only made better by extreme gridlock for the majority of the way. This was not made any better by the fact that it was 30degrees outside & we had no aircon. Hideous.
When we finally arrived & my mother chose the appropriate parking we were rather fed up. The sun had decided to disappear & the beach was crazy busy!
So we decided to go for something to eat & found a pizza express nearby. We were the only customers in there so we figured the service would be amazing right? Wrong. The staff we less than enthusiastic & it took them 10 minutes to get a drink order!
Coming from the hospitality background I find this completely ridiculous & just plain rude (how I would of loved to be a mystery diner!).
We finally received our meals & moved on...
Luckily the sun had now come out & the beach had been vacated of most of the people, so we had a stroll along the beach.
I recently got an iphone & am in LOVE with the hipstamatic app as you can see! So expect this to be a slight signature of mine!
Also. Sorry another rant approaching!
The beach itself was actually really beautiful however what wasn't so beautiful was the fact that the beach had now been completely littered with everyones rubbish!!! What is it with the english?!? There's bins for a reason, it doesn't take much to carry your rubbish to the bin! If you went to a beach in France or Portugal or pretty much anywhere that wasn't in the UK you wouldn't see a single piece of litter!
No wonder the English have such a bad name!
{RANT OVER}

But yes, it turned out to be quite a nice day (minus the dramas).

Attended the Jacques Townhouse event a couple weeks back & thought I'd share my experience with those who couldn't attend.
I had been panicking days in advance about what to wear, there was no dress code which made it even worse! At least that would of given me something to go on, however settled on a black shirt dress in the end.
The event itself was held in the most amazing townhouse in central London & was decorated with many cute random things.
We got to drink complimentary Jacques cider which was delish, get lash makeovers courtesy of Benefit, dress up in vintage clothing and have a photoshoot and customize either a bag or headband.
It was a beautiful event, just wish the sun had come out!
